Samsung is working on a new update for the Galaxy S24 series to fix issues and make the user experience better. The update will let users adjust the display colors and improve the camera performance. It’s expected to be out for all three smartphones by the end of February 2024.
Samsung has introduced an advanced display settings menu for the Galaxy S24. After the launch, some users were worried about the screen’s colors being a bit dull compared to the Galaxy S23 series. With the upcoming update, Samsung will let users tweak this by adjusting the “Vividness” of the screen through the “Advanced settings” menu in the display settings.
Samsung also said the update will improve the Galaxy S24 series cameras. They mentioned, “We’ve improved the camera, including zoom, Portrait Mode, Nightography, rear camera video, and more.”
This update will improve the performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S24+, which use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the Exynos 2400 SoC. In India, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the Exynos 2400, while the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ use the Exynos 2400 SoC.
With the release of the S24 series, Samsung also introduced Galaxy AI features. These include AI-powered image editing, real-time call translation, and a wallpaper generator. Samsung has confirmed that some of these features will be available on the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5 series with a future software update.
